Responsibilities
The Group Recruiter is responsible for effectively and efficiently performing all related activities for the sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing of internal and external candidates for Hartgrove Behavioral Health System and Garfield Park Behavioral Hospital. Pre-screens and schedule interviews for job applicants; arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules. Manages hiring process for new employees and utilizes his or her own discretion and independent judgement when making hiring decisions. Coordinates with the HRD on salary and hourly wages for all prospective applicants. Conduct follow up interviews with new hires to ensure proper onboarding. Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Establishes recruiting requirements meeting with managers to discuss needs. This position has the potential to be partially remote after sucessful completion of the employees' introductory training period.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors Degree in HR, Organizational Leadership, Business or related field required. Master in Human Resources, OLS, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years recruitment experience required; Prior healthcare and human resources experience strongly prefered; and multi-site recruitment experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification: None required; PHR or SPHR preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
The Essential Job Functions are defined as the fundamental job-related duties that are necessary to the position. An employee is deemed qualified for this position if he or she can perform the following duties with or without accommodations:
- Full cycle recruitment which includes phone to phone and in-person interviews.
- Computer literacy which includes fluency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and employees to bring top talent into our organization.
- Manage the recruitment process which may include initial assessments, presentation of qualified candidates to hiring managers, interviews, selection, offer and follow-up.
- Facilitate pre-boarding process, including reference checks, background screening, initiate and review physical and drug screenings, hiring paperwork, DCFS screenings, IDPH Health Worker registry screenings, and Licensure screening through IDFPR.
- Provide excellent customer experience through effective communication.
- Strong working knowledge of an ATS
- Ensuring candidates have successfully completed an I-9 / E-Verify process and are eligible to work in the US.
- Execute CPR training and CPI training and be part of the training pool.
