The Intake Assistant Director is responsible for coordination of assessments of incoming patients with A&R Counselors, coordinates Doctor’s assessments and initiates the Admission process with the Admissions Clerk. The Assistant Access Director technical assistance to the discharge planning process, under the direction of the Director of Access.

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Master’s Degree in a human relations field.
- Two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting with supervisory experience. A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting including customer contact.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Texas as an RN, LMSW, LCSW or LPC.
- A working knowledge of the DSM-IV and the Mental Status Exam. A working knowledge of the Addiction and Recovery field.
