What are the responsibilities and job description for the IOP THERAPIST position at UHS?
The IOP Therapist is responsible for providing direct clinical services for Outpatient Services. The therapist completes psychosocial assessment upon admission and is responsible for providing the clinical and case management services throughout the treatment episode. Treatment planning and coordinating aftercare services are primary job responsibilities associated with this position. The IOP Therapist provides clinical services primarily in a group setting, either in person or through tele-health modalities.

Since 1983, Valle Vista Health System, a 132 bed facility located in Greenwood, Indiana, has been providing high-quality behavioral health care to the community. We offer care for a broad range of psychiatric and addiction disorders. We provide care to adults, and to patients as young as age five. Our programs include inpatient, outpatient and medication-assisted treatment for adults, and residential and inpatient treatment for children and adolescents. These programs are designed to help adults, children and teens learn the necessary skills to regain confidence, heal and successfully function at home, work, school and in
their communities.

Qualifications
Education/Licensure: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field.
Experience: Minimum requirement one (1) year of experience providing direct clinical services. Must have strong clinical assessment skills and working knowledge of the DSM. Experience conducting group therapy in the area of mental health and/or addiction preferred.
Additional Requirements: No weekend responsibilities and no on call required!
