Beaumont Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility)
A new, 144-bed behavioral health facility – Beaumont Behavioral Hospital provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults, and older adults, and perform behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Additionally, programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population. The facility provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family, and individual therapy.

Position Summary
The Milieu Specialist provides therapeutic milieu management training and monitoring of the hospital units. Milieu management includes program content and philosophy, patient management training, environmental management, and staff competency.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Five years of professional experience in a mental health hospital setting required.
- Experience as a Lead MHT.
- Current certification as a Non-Violent Crisis Intervention instructor required or obtained ASAP but no later than 5 months.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to relate feedback and mentor existing & newly hired employees required.
- Current certification in BLS required.
Work Hours: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. 3 12-hour shifts. Must be available to work rotating weekends and holidays.
