Mobile Assessor

 

Clive Behavioral Health (CBH) is a 134-bed licensed inpatient behavioral health hospital, operating on two campuses in Iowa. Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at this location focuses on crisis management, stabilization and development of a plan to return to community living with, if needed, supportive outpatient services and community services and resources. Clive Behavioral Health Des Moines is a 34-bed inpatient location operated by CBH on the MercyOne Des Moines campus. Care at this location will be for adults experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis.

 

Qualifications

The Mobile Assessor serves as the first point of contact for people suffering from a mental health emergency. The Admissions Clinician conducts interviews and assesses patients and shares the information with the psychiatrist to determine appropriate level of care. The incumbent coordinates the patient’s admission into the appropriate program and communicates with the patient, family, and staff to ensure the patient is safe and treated with dignity and respect.

 

Successful candidates for the Mobile Assessor position will have the following education, skills and abilities:

  • RN Licensure or Master’s Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling
  • Organized, detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have experience in Mental Health
