Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a 120-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Westampton, New Jersey. We offer the most advanced behavioral health, diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents and older adults in both inpatient and outpatient programs. We are currently seeking a part time (20 hour/week) Patient Advocate for our Inpatient Units.
The Patient Advocate investigates, resolves, documents and reports organization-specific patient and visitor complaints and concerns top leadership and staff. The Patient Advocate collaborates with departmental leaders to ensure resolution of concerns presented by patients, families, visitors or other representatives of the patient. The Patient Advocate actively participates in the development and implementation of customer service and patient relations initiatives related to the facility's mission and goals.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- A./B.S. in health related field with one year of psychiatric experience, preferably in an inpatient setting; or two years of experience in a psychiatric setting with evidence of participation in continuing education related to mental health preferred.
- Psychiatric inpatient experience for Adults, Adolescents and Dual populations preferred.
- Must maintain CPR and First Aid, Verbal De-escalation and Handle with Care Certifications which will be provided by the Hospital.
