What are the responsibilities and job description for the PSYCHOLOGY CLINICAL COORDINATOR position at UHS?
JOB SUMMARY:
The position provides oversight and organization for the daily activities of the psychology department. The clinical coordinator will manage psychology students, communicate with other departments, and assist in ensuring high-quality patient care. The position also provides support to the Patient Advocacy Program, and outpatient services as needed. In addition, the clinical coordinator will engage in direct delivery across the continuum of care.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position.
Education: Must have completed a minimum of 1,000-hour training experience in clinical psychology, and have been awarded their master's degree within six (6) months of start date.
Experience: Leadership qualities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to work independently.
Licensure/Certification: None required
Knowledge: Prefer knowledge of general and psychiatric principles, working concepts and theory, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, individual, group and family therapy. Able to work cooperatively with other site staff and involved community agencies. Good organization skills, as well as oral and written communication skills.
