Peachford Hospital is searching for a friendly and knowledgeable Purchasing Clerk.

Our Purchasing Clerk is responsible for procurement and maintenance of all supplies, capital equipment, and service contracts to meet the needs of the hospital.

What Will You Get to Do?

The Purchasing Agent is assigned the following duties and tasks:

• Keep storeroom stocked of all stock items. Searches for best value on purchases.
• Issue and maintain requisitions and purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Deliver supplies and orders to departments throughout the hospital.
• Follow corporate purchasing guidelines and vendor list.
• Communicate with vendors regarding purchasing supplies, equipment, and service contacts in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in semi-annual inventory and prepares reports for the CFO.
• Conduct an analysis of expenditure patterns and usage trends.
• Prepare and distribute reports.

What Does Peachford Require for this Role?
A bachelors degree or equivalent is required for this position as well as at least one year of previous healthcare realted experience. Purchasing experience preferred. A valid Georgia driver’s license is also preferred.
