Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
The Nurse is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on RTC or Acute units. The Nurse is in charge of the unit activities for each shift. The Nurse supervises the Mental Health Technicians and Licensed Professional Nurses working on the unit, administers prescribed medications and provides medication and other educational groups.
Work schedule is 6 shifts in a 2 week period.
$5000.00 Sign on Bonus Available

Qualifications
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Associates, Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited college in nursing.
Experience:
None required.
License:
Current RN licensure in the State of North Carolina or compact state.
Physical requirements:
Medium Work – Exerting 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 – 25 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds of force frequently or an amount greater than negligible and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of these for light work. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
