Overview
Bowhead seeks a Senior Analyst to provide support for the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition Logistics and Technology (ASAALT) contract in Washington, D.C. The Senior Analyst will be tasked with developing requirements from project inception to conclusion for a particular subject matter area.
Responsibilities
- Analyze actual and predictable operational activities to obtain a quantitative basis for decision making and resource allocation
- Utilize modeling and measuring techniques, mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, and other necessary techniques
- Provide integral support in the requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification, and documentation of modeling and simulation-based decision support system applications.
- May provide work leadership for lower-level employees.
Qualifications

- BA/BS, advanced degree preferred
- 10 years professional experience
- Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time• Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
