Overview
SIMULATION ENGINEER (OSDJT):
Bowhead seeks a Simulation Engineer to support the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Test and Evaluation (JTE&E), Joint Program Office (JPO) supporting Joint/Joint Agency, Combatant Command, and Service joint tests and quick reaction tests.
Responsibilities
- Executing models and simulations to aid in developing and testing TTP through Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) networks as part of a Joint Live, Virtual, and Constructive (JLVC) environment.
- LVC architecture servicing the CCMD exercises.
- Operating or testing in an LVC environment and developing M&S services requirements to meet test event objectives.
- Observing and analyzing test and evaluation operations to ensure conformity with military doctrines, policies, and procedures.
- Providing consultation concerning M&S techniques for the design, development, and planning of M&S use and integration into JT&E projects.
- Conducting research and coordination, develops program test plans and detailed test plans.
Qualifications
- Ten (10 ) years’ of experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated skills in prioritization and multi-tasking.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
