Position Summary
Oversee day-to-day system administration of teaching and learning systems, including system performance, utilization, data analysis, database administration, maintenance and support, with particular relevance to the LMS. Assist in testing, and integration of UIC's learning systems. Assist others working on LMS system administration, web and video conferencing applications, and a variety of teaching and learning technologies and related support activities. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities
Coordinate and provide service in application and database level administration, risk analysis, system architecture, and security assurance. Participate in the planning, testing and implementation of new educational technology applications’ releases and upgrades.
Test, integrate, and create documentation for existing software and special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications. Ensure optimal integration of Student Information Systems (Banner) and other 3rd party services (e.g. LTI or video streaming)
Provide advanced tier technical support.
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
