Job Description OVERVIEW
Vibrant Real Estate Company is currently seeking a Senior Regional Facility Manager to be based out of our Lemont, IL office. This position will be responsible for providing outstanding client service in the management, monitoring and control of a portfolio of commercial buildings, with a focus on building operations, service contracts and financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall performance of the region, ensuring that properties are optimized to run efficiently, while dealing with complex problems and offering real solutions.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and direction for the efficient operations and maintenance of all facility related issues, including, electrical, mechanical, structural, and life safety for the assigned portfolio of assets. The specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited, to Employee Management and Development, customer satisfaction, staff productivity, and efficiency.
Provide vision and guidance to the operations team, maintenance and office staff, leadership team, immediate supervisors, and other stakeholders as appropriate.
Provides oversight of staff, with input on selection, counseling, annual reviews, and recognition, recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination, and other personnel actions
For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans and succession plans.
Oversee training and support aimed at expanding staff capabilities while continuing a “Safety First” culture.
Monitor work order data to ensure compliance with established KPIs.
Evaluate in conjunction with VP of Facilities and VP of Operations the existing preventive maintenance scheduling intervals and work to maintain, update and improve the operational efficiency of the CMMS system.
Maintain and improve operational policies and best practices including standard processes and procedures, application of policies and programs, etc.
Ensure compliance with portfolio wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operating of facilities.
Help guide, prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets with company’s goals and objectives addressed, track variances and implement efficiencies.
Any and all other duties assigned.
Skills And Experience
BA/BS in in Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent facilities experience.
5 years of facilities engineering and operations experience, strongly preferred
Strong technical knowledge of building systems, UPS, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
Business acumen including financial planning and analysis must be able to manage within budget and time constraints.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and train.
Skilled at vendor/contract management.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation ability.
Superior customer service, relationship building and follow up skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
