Responsibilities
- Performs speech and language, swallowing, and cognitive evaluations.
- Establishes care plans and ensures prescribed care delivery to assigned patients in line with standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the speech and language pathology practice act in the State of Kansas.
- Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff.
- Promotes speech and language pathology services and professional development throughout the organization and community.
- Reports to the assigned department leader.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CPR/BLS certification
- Active license in State of Kansas
Preferred Job Requirements:
Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience
Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office
