The Ulster BOCES Instructional Services Program is seeking an Instructional Data Analysis and Technology Specialist for a full-time, 10-month 20 day position. Appropriate NYS Certification and fingerprinting required.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide leadership and technical assistance that promotes the appropriate use of data analysis and technology to support and improve teaching and learning in Ulster BOCES and component districts.
SPECIFIC DUTIES OF INSTRUCTIONAL DATA ANALYSIS AND TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT:
- Works with agency leadership to develop, implement, and maintain innovative programs that foster use of contemporary, researched based, best practices that incorporate use of technology and data.
- Stays informed on new or evolving best practices and provides agency leadership information to incorporate the use of emerging technologies and the use of data to enhance teaching, learning, and program design.
- Promotes and assists with the coordination of ongoing and long-range technology planning for the educational technology needs of Ulster BOCES.
- Suggests vision and coordination on the use of data and appropriate technology in Ulster BOCES and provides technical assistance to support the same.
- Works with agency leaders to support and assess the effective integration of data and instructional technologies into classroom practice.
- Provides strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the use of data and technology systems related to student performance.
- Fosters the use of data as a tool for decision making within the Ulster BOCES student based programs.
- Serves as a resource on the use of data and instructional technology to teachers and leaders within Ulster BOCES.
- Compiles data and integration of instructional technologies designed to improve student learning.
- Provides training and follow through in the use of data and technology to supports instruction.
- Assists in the development of Ulster BOCES instructional technology plans and data compliance.
- Assists staff responsible for developing and using instructional technology and data analysis technology.
- Works cooperatively with staff members to incorporate the use of data and technology solutions that drive teaching, learning, student growth/outcomes, and improves the efficiency of the agency.
- Participates in long and short term planning for data analysis technology acquisition and implementation.
- Assumes other duties as assigned by the District Superintendent or designee.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- New York State Teacher Certfication
- Master's degree
- 3-5 years school based experience
- 3-5 years experience using Data and Technology that improves student performance.
