What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substation BIM Technician position at Ulteig Opportunities?
The Opportunity
Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a BIM Technician. The BIM Technician supports an assigned group of engineers by providing technical modeling and drafting support as well as creating construction drawings/designs.
What You'll Do
Successful candidates will complete tasks within the Substation department modeling, designing, and drafting projects. Candidates must have strong attention to detail and work well within a team.
What We Expect from You
- Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in school for Technical Drafting.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of Revit is required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of MicroStation is a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical protection and controls or hydraulics would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Knowledge of hydroelectric facilities or medium-voltage electrical protection and controls would be beneficial.
- Excellent organization and communication skills to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in US.
