Commercial Roofers and Laborers - Company Paid Health Insurance!

We are looking to hire commercial construction workers with roofing experience. These are commercial projects located in the Colorado Springs area. The pay range here is $20-$25 per hour based on experience. Most of our field employees are getting 45 to 50 hours per week. All applicants must have their own personal vehicle, and be ready to work hard outside for 40 hours a week. Company paid health benefits and pay will be weekly for employee convenience and there is no one week delay!

Job Responsibilities

• Transport and load/unload roofing materials in truck

• Lay new roofing materials such as asphalt, wood, steel and plastics

• Inspect roofing for damage and perform any needed repairs

• Spray treatment chemicals on roofs and buildings to seal them from water and weather

• Clean rooftops by removing leaves, ice and other debris

• Install insulation materials underneath roofs

• Use hand tools such as hammers, electric staplers and electric spraying tools

Job Skills & Qualifications

• High school education or GED

• Construction safety certification such as OSHA training is a plus

• Physical fitness level that will allow for quick movement, climbing, bending and lifting heavy loads

• Previous experience in roofing, construction or related scope of work

• Communication and teamwork skills including an openness to receiving feedback from superiors

• General knowledge of roofing procedures, techniques and specialties

• Strong work ethic and desire to perform quality work

• Ability to read and follow instructions from blueprints, drawings and diagrams

• Endurance to spend hours working in extreme weather conditions such as heat or cold
