Primary Duties:
Quality Management System Activities
- Develops, documents, and implements processes and techniques needed for the quality management system (QMS), including processes required for ISO 9001 system certification.
- Serves as OTS's Management Representative for quality functions, including liaison with external auditors.
- Establishes, implements, and maintains the quality management system.
- Oversees internal audits, including the creation of audit reports, closing audit findings, and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are carried out in a timely manner.
Monitoring Work Product and Process Quality
- Monitors work product and production processes to ensure quality objectives are met. Develops measurement methods for monitoring progress toward quality objectives.
- Supports and collaborates with personnel to ensure that work product and processes comply with relevant requirements of the quality management system.
- Creates, manages, maintains and updates QMS documentation.
- Interfaces with all departments to ensure that documentation is effectively implemented.
