Seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Chemical Operator for a wonderful client in West Sacramento.
Your primary role is to safely and efficiently operate the provided equipment to manufacture our products. This requires a thorough understanding and adherence to company training, policies, and procedures.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, Overtime available on Saturdays
Pay rate:
$20/hr
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling raw materials
- Operating forklifts
- Managing warehouse tasks
- Cleaning up chemical spills
- Sampling products
- Handling open products
- Packaging
- Maintaining facility cleanliness
Essential:
* Must be able to travel up and down stairs, in and out of containment areas, in narrow aisles.
* Must be able to lift, carry and maneuver at least 40 pounds.
* Must be able to wear a respirator for extended periods.
* Must be able to work in proximity to active electromagnets.
You will work in an industrial chemical plant, where the environment can be hot or cold, noisy, and dusty, with exposure to chemicals. This role demands significant physical capability and mental acuity.
