Position : Production Supervisor (1st and 2nd Shift Available)

- Pay Rate : $75k-85k
- Monday-Friday : 1st Shift (6am-2 : 30pm) OR 2nd Shift (2 : 30-11pm)
Job Description :
The Production Supervisor will oversee all aspects of surface mount operations. Evaluates manufacturing processes, personnel, and equipment.
Uses problem solving tools to continually improve processes and eliminate defects.
Manage all SMT Employees including hiring, performance evaluations, and discipline.
SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned).
Responsible for improvement of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) related processes. This includes the identification and improvement of product quality, process capability, and product reliability.
Monitor the SMT process and necessary controls working with production, quality assurance, supervision, and others.
- Provides hands-on manufacturing engineering support and leads cross-functional process improvement teams to support production and resolve manufacturing and quality issues.
- Trains and certifies assembly operators and inspectors on manufacturing processes.
- Provide pre and post manufacturing reviews and finalize process issues as required.
- Responsible for reducing SMT line setup times, reducing SMT line takt times, increasing SMT line productivity (performance to takt time), and improving first pass yield.
- Schedule, prioritize, and monitor work on SMT Lines to ensure on-time delivery to secondary operations
- Review design documentation, materials, and designs for manufacturability (DFM process).
- Participate in the selection of new equipment and evaluation of software to increase capabilities and capacity
Requirements :
- Previous experience working in a electronic / electrical manufacturing enviroment as a Supervisor
- Must have experince with PCBAs or Circuit Boards
- SMT Supervisory experience
