Job Description
1st Shift & 3rd Shift QC Inspector
Location: 9855 Carroll Canyon Rd, Scripps Ranch, CA 92131
3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM, must train on 1st shift (Monday - Friday 5:45 AM - 2:30 PM), Pay: $22 - $23/hr DOE

**Must be US Citizen, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees
**Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
Under general supervision, performs product inspection and/or audits of quality assurance programs. May perform sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials and packaging line and manufacturing inspections. May inspect and test product manufactured or processed by suppliers to ensure conformance to requirements and specifications. Identifies material and processes as conforming or nonconforming. Writes simple reports of findings for review. Enters required data into system. Follows established procedures on routine work, minimal guidance on established procedures. Will receive instruction on new assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Responsible for understanding and use of hyperbaric, electrical, mechanical test fixtures, and procedures.
* Maintaining verification of equipment working conditions and calibration requirements.
* Notify errors on procedures, drawings, bills of material, and router to the support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering).
* Responsible for completing documentation (shop order and FATs) accurately and timely.
* Responsible for entering data into the IFS system accurately and timely.
* Set up pressure vessel equipment parameters for test using correct fixture for each part tested.
* Responsible for maintaining high quality standards and workmanship.
* Maintain excellent communication and working relationship with all departments within the company.
* Maintain a safe working environment.
* Communicating special tooling needed to perform operation that may have not been identified.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Education/Experience:
* High School Diploma and some degree of vocational technical training and a minimum of 2-5 years directly related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Recent experience in a manufacturing environment.
* IPC-610 solder certified within the last 2 years preferred.
* IPC 620 certification preferred.
* Knowledge of crimped contacts.
* Experienced with inspection of cables and connectors.
* Competent with reading and interpreting drawings for correct wiring and connections.
* Experience using a microscope, multimeter, calipers, height gages and miscellaneous electrical equipment.
* Ability to read, write, and speak the English language at a level that allows for the comprehension of detailed instructions and the legible completion of paperwork.
* Ability to work safely with minimal or no direct supervision.
* Ability to work with changing demands in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work from verbal directions.
* Ability to learn from peers.
* Excellent communication skills.
