Salary: $23-$25/hour
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as a liaison for the day-to-day routing between Customer Care, Inbound Logistics, Shipping and Transportation.
* Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies.
* Reviews weekly demand/volume for routes
* Re-routes, Plans, distributes, monitors and preforms follows-up on daily route assignments
* Communicates changes to shipping, transportation and customers as needed in real time.
* Ensures that trucks are mapped to make their deliveries.
* Inspects loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
* Interacts with drivers regarding their routes and load quality
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Takes initiative and works well independently.
* Capability of prioritizing and handling multiple projects.
* Good attitude and able to work effectively with peers
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience of related experience.
* Must have strong Microsoft computer skills
