Job Description
Position: Project Manager, emphasis on Estimating
Duration: Permanent opportunity
Salary: $95,000 - $125,000
Location: East San Diego, projects throughout Southern California
Growing construction team, based in East County, is looking for an experienced Estimator / Project Manager to join their team. To be successful in this role you must be comfortable managing the estimating process of several projects, experience with grading and industry knowledge to keep growing.
Job Duties:
Prepare cost estimates including labor and equipment
Review materials pricing
Partner with vendors and subcontractors for quotes
Ability to review and understand bid documents
Meet with Client, Owners and Contractors as necessary
Review quotes and estimates with project team
Manage project documentation, ongoing deliverable and communications as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree with 4 years experience preferred
Will consider 8 years related experience
Heavy knowledge of Civil and Site development and storm drainage
Experience in grading and working with public utilities
Strong technical skills, experience with: HeavyBid, HeavyJob, MS Projects and Primavera P6 preferred
