Job Description
Ultimate Staffing is seeking experienced Mail Room clerks for a client in the Galleria area.
The Mail Room Clerk on our Documents Team will focus on reviewing, categorizing and processing inbound and outbound legal correspondence in digital and hard copy formats as part of our team working on mass tort and single event litigation cases.
Job Responsibilities:
The Mail Room Clerk is responsible for assisting lien resolution in all aspects of case resolution including:
- Process, print, and assemble all components of outbound mail requests.
- Assemble, stuff, stamp and address outbound mail correspondence.
- Preforms Quality Control on all outgoing mailings.
- Stuff and prepare FedEx labels and pickups.
- Collect physical mail from mailbox.
- Open, prepare, and scan incoming mail.
- Rename scanned files in-network storage drives and use workflows to upload into various software platforms.
- 1-2 years of Mail Room experience preferred
- Demonstrate extreme focus and attention to detail
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Apply critical thinking with your analytical skills
- Professional and strong with both oral and written communication
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Take direction as well as work independently
- Adapt well in a changing environment
- Legal/insurance background is a plus
