Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Materials Manager to support our client's logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have experience collaborating across multiple departments to create effective business strategies with previous management experience.
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000
Location: Salem, NH
Hours: Monday - Friday (7:00am-3:30pm) with occasional Saturdays as required
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of up to six individuals
- Reduce cost of materials required
- Evaluate and report KPIs
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records
- Resolve materials issues by communicating and negotiating with vendors
- Implement and manage optimal procurement processes
- Implement strategic buying strategies
- 2 years of experience in Supply Chain experience in a managerial position
- Knowledge of supply chain processes
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management
