Pay: $17/hr.
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday

Position Title: The position of eRecording Expansion Specialist requires the individual to identify counties/jurisdictions, through research and various reports, where the addition of eRecording for company is a possibility. The Specialist will act as the primary outreach to jurisdictions where the company is not currently eRecording, to begin the process of getting setup to eRecord with those offices. The specialist will interact over the phone and through written communication with interested jurisdictions to begin the integration process via the signing of a contract. The specialist will also work with accounting on establishing methods of payment between the company and the jurisdiction. Finally, the Specialist will facilitate communication between eRecording and IT, as necessary, as well as provide support to teams internally for any eRecording related issues.
It is necessary that the Specialist familiarizes themselves with the eRecording workflow and be comfortable learning multiple software applications. The Specialist will not only be responsible for the external jurisdictions in transitioning them from paper submissions to electronic but will also provide an important support role to the teams internally as it comes to eRecording related questions.
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITES
- Contact perspective jurisdictions and walk them through the MOU (memorandum of understanding) process.
- Facilitate necessary signatures on MOU's and ACH documents as necessary.
- Work with internal teams (eRecording, Accounting, IT, etc.) to ensure proper setup of new jurisdictions in the applications.
- Assist supervisor and accounting in creation and sending of daily, weekly, and monthly reports, as necessary.
- Assist the teams as necessary with any eRecording related issues.
- Occasionally assist the eRecording team with daily operations (binning, printing, stapling, etc.).
- Proofread and audit recordable documents.
- Perform formal review and inspection of recordable documents to ensure accuracy.
- Process recording fees by understanding related mortgage documents.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Graduate or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills.
- Ability to use basic computer programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast paced and goal orientated climate.
