Operations & Inventory Manager
Position Overview: Seeking an Operations & Inventory Manager to lead teams in Assembly, Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Management. This role requires expertise in manufacturing and assembly operations, inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assembly and inventory teams, ensuring effective workflows and product quality.
- Support the implementation of NetSuite's Advanced Manufacturing and Demand Planning modules.
- Optimize manufacturing processes through collaboration with engineering and other departments.
- Develop training programs for the assembly team, including lean methodologies.
- Conduct time studies to enhance production efficiency and evaluate in-house vs. outsourcing options.
- Audit Bills of Materials for inventory and gross margin accuracy, driving process improvements.
- Oversee daily warehouse functions, including shipping and receiving.
- Implement inventory control strategies to optimize accuracy and turnover, conducting regular counts and reconciliations.
- Introduce technology solutions for inventory management, such as WMS and barcode systems.
- Lead and mentor teams, aligning goals with business objectives and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of relevant business experience.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and inventory management principles.
- Bachelor's degree in operations, supply chain, inventory management, or a related field.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident; relocation or visa sponsorship is not available.
- Travel requirements are minimal, less than 10%.
