Purchasing Associate - $50k/yr.

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
• Generate new inventory entries, establish stocking thresholds, and establish associations between related items
• Utilize vendor management software to generate restocking reports
• Execute comprehensive procurement tasks, including creating purchase orders, placing orders, and managing receipts
• Proactively follow up on orders, tracking progress, managing price adjustments, and obtaining invoices from vendors
• Collaborate with management to forecast inventory needs
• Rectify and reconcile errors linked to procurement activities
• Process return orders, warranty exchanges, and returns
• Maintain an organized supply of office essentials
• Fulfill requests for supplies as they come in
• Cultivate and manage positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Provide necessary documentation to support transactions with vendors
• Uphold a high standard of client satisfaction through professional and courteous communication
• Handle data input, maintain records, and organize filing systems

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous experience in ordering and managing inventory
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Additional Info:

• Pay range: $50k/yr.
• Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
• Type: Direct Hire
