As the Director of Programs at Ultra Maritime, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the execution of defense programs to ensure successful outcomes and mission readiness. Reporting to the Vice President of Programs, you will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of weapon systems programs.Nationality Requirements

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute program strategies in alignment with company objectives and customer requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams to effectively plan, execute, and deliver programs on time and within budget.
Manage program budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Identify and mitigate program risks, implementing appropriate risk management strategies to minimize impact on program objectives.
Ensure compliance with government regulations, contractual requirements, and quality standards throughout the program lifecycle.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance program execution processes and maximize program performance.
Collaborate with business development teams to identify new opportunities, support proposal development efforts, and contribute to the growth of the company's defense portfolio.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience in program management within the defense industry, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex defense programs.
Strong understanding of defense acquisition processes, government contracting, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and drive results to meet program objectives.
Experience with program management tools and methodologies, such as Earned Value Management (EVM) and Agile, is preferred.
Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
