Filler Line Operator

We are seeking a dedicated and professional packaging and filling machine operator who brings a high level of responsibility and dedication to the position. You must be vigilant and perceptive while operating the machinery to avoid accidents. We are also looking for a candidate who is efficient and quick, meets daily quotas and being able to operate the machinery for several hours at a time. In addition to operating the machinery, you will complete administrative work at the end of your shift, weigh products you package and perform simple maintenance on the machines. Responsibilities

• Operate packaging machinery of several types at varying stages of the production line, always performing actions quickly and safely.
• Must be able to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, part descriptions, and operation instruction sheets.
• Following established safety and efficiency procedures to ensure that operations run smoothly.
• Inspecting assembled products for any faults or defects.
• Loading product pieces slated for assembly onto the line and packing assembled products into boxes for storage.
• Stopping the filling line and halting production if machinery fails or a major defect is detected.
• Reporting incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections on the filler line to management.
• Perform simple hourly maintenance on your machine to ensure it is completely functional and safe to operate.
• Support other machine operators.
• Housekeeping and sanitation.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• At least 2 years’ experience working on an assembly line.
• A high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Solid understanding of production machinery and proper assembly procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing safety protocols and regulations.

90 Day – 6 Month Review: Employees will be assessed on their performance benchmarks, attendance, and good culture. If quotas are met within the agreement after 90 days pay will increase to $1.00 and the maximum pay increase after 6 months if quotas are consecutively met for a period.
