Finishing Operator 1st shift

• Four 10 hr shifts Monday-Thursday; 1st shift 6am to 4pm

Essential Job Functions:

• Individual will learn all machines in finishing. Rewinders and folder gluer.
• Visually inspect labels, cartons, printed or converted goods for defects.
• Splice rolls together using scissors and tape.
• Slit down jobs.
• Make core/shipper labels.
• Splice rolls together using splicing table, following customer splicing specifications.
• Maintain the Rewinder machines using the PM schedules.
• Must be able to run TT and Direct Thermal Transfer Printing Jobs.
• Individual will operate fork truck
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Qualifications:

• Must have high school diploma or G.E.D.
• Must have basic personal computer skills including electronic mail and word processing.
• Must have basic math skills to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Must be able to read and comprehend measurements on a ruler.
• Must be able to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures, and work instructions.
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to maintain good attendance.
• Must be willing to work as needed.
• Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with reasonable accommodation.'
