Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychiatric Occupational Therapist at UM Upper Chesapeake Health. The Psychiatric Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to psychiatric patients. Daily tasks may include evaluating patient needs, developing treatment plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patients' mental health and well-being.
Qualifications
- Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation skills
- Experience in working with psychiatric patients
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge in pediatrics and mental health
- Ability to assess and treat patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and Maryland State License
