As an embedded Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) partner navigator (WPN), you will play a crucial role in connecting individuals with disabilities to various partner programs to facilitate their access to competitive, integrated employment opportunities. This hybrid position combines elements of training, social services, and vocational rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Increase the number of individuals with disabilities accessing partner programs and resources for enhanced support.
Streamline service access and delivery across partner programs to create a seamless experience for participants.
Implement best practices to guide individuals through workforce services, postsecondary training, work-based learning, and other necessary services for sustainable employment outcomes.
Embedded Role And Relationship Building
WPNs will be integrated into the culture of designated Work One centers and Vocational Rehabilitation offices, serving as a knowledgeable resource on available programs and services. Relationship building and collaboration with partner agencies are essential to ensure mutual delivery of services to shared participants.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in relevant fields such as workforce services, vocational rehabilitation, or education.
Familiarity with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Rehabilitation Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with stakeholders and partners.
Experience Working With Individuals With Disabilities Is Highly Desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Self-motivated individual capable of independent work.
Working Environment
WPNs will operate in various locations, including Work One centers and Vocational Rehabilitation offices within their assigned geographic areas. In-person meetings and activities will be predominant, with some remote work flexibility available as needed. Regular presence at partner organizations is expected to facilitate seamless service delivery.
