Title: Contact Center Member Service Specialist

Hours: Full-time, 37.50 hours/week


 Responsibilities include: delivering excellent member service via the telephone and email, establishing memberships, opening accounts, interviewing members for consumer and equity loans, disbursing loans, identifying members’ needs and providing services and products in their best interest. Referring members to the appropriate party for specialty financial services such as investment counseling, first mortgage applications, etc. Perform various Teller transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers. Educate members on financial topics, providing basic financial coaching services as needed. 

Requirements: High School Diploma; 2 to 5 years of experience in a customer service or sales position with experience cross-selling products and services preferred;  qualified candidates will demonstrate excellent customer service and problem solving skills. Strong computer skills, including MS Word and Excel, internet, instant message, email as well as the use of mobile devices and tablets is a requirement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including building relationships and demonstrating consistent follow through is required. Proficient keyboarding skills are required.
