We pride ourselves on a listen-first approach that keeps the focus on the client, always striving to understand their story, their dreams and their goals so we can help ensure their plan meets their needs now, and in the future.  The Director of Sales and Delivery directs the sales activities of Wealth Advisors, Financial Advisors, business exit planning, and the financial planning activities led by Financial Planners across UMB’s footprint. You will provide leadership and direction to the UMB Private Wealth Management organization overseeing the strategic sales and delivery efforts of the division. This includes oversight, business development, strategic vision, advisory practice management, recruitment, leadership and regional community representation. Your leadership drives financial performance through growth strategies, sales performance, expense efficiencies and budget management. The position reports to the President of Private Wealth Management and works closely with other department heads to foster teamwork and cross sales. How you will spend your time: Design and implement strategy to increase sales, improve service quality (new asset growth and retention) Responsible for the entire wealth management engagement with clients, leading with comprehensive financial planning at the center Manage associate performance and professional development Ensure strategic objectives are translated into effective tactical operations within each advisory practice Establish collaborative partnerships within the UMB footprint focused on internal partnering to accomplish regional and divisional goals Maintain thorough knowledge of all federal, state, and local regulations and industry required regulations. Requires compliance with applicable regulations, bank's policies and ensures UMB Private Wealth's sales associates fully comply with regulations Establish sales production goals and objectives Develop and deliver sales planning, coaching and pipeline management Conduct the Performance Management process quarterly and one on one meetings with sales force. Plan and execute national sales meetings Contributing member of PWM Leadership working closely with Regional and Department leaders of Private Wealth, Consumer Services, and Commercial Banking. Enforce UMBFSI, UMB Bank and UMBFC policies and procedures. Compensation Range: Minimum: $164,010.00 - Mid Point: $234,360.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job related factors.
