CONTRACTOR POSITION – LISW/LPCC/IMFT FOR OUTPATIENT SERVICES

UMCH Family Services is seeking a contracted independently licensed mental health professional to be part of our Outpatient Program.

We have worked with thousands of children and parents across Ohio through Treatment Foster Care, Outpatient Mental Health Services, Psychiatry, Intensive Home-Based Treatment, and Adoption.

Position Summary

This therapist will independently provide office-based services as part of UMCH Family Services continuum of mental health care. This position delivers strength-based trauma-informed mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families. There are also options to do contract work in a school setting or potentially in a healthcare environment. The therapist will conduct mental health assessments, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, and document services delivered.

• A Supervisory Designation could create an opportunity to be paid to provide clinical supervision hours, based on agency need.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work/Counseling/MFT or related field
• Child mental health experience preferred
• Must have strong documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively with families and treatment partners
• Independent Licensure (LISW/LPCC/IMFT)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

Required License: Ohio Counselor, Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapist Board Licensure

Required Education: Master’s Degree
