SUMMARY:
Deliver products to Umpqua Dairy Depots and occasionally deliver product to stores and distributors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads work orders/load sheets or follows oral instructions to ascertain that all product is on the truck and delivered in a safe and timely manner.
- Loads and unloads products from delivery truck using hand trucks and pallet jacks on some routes.
- Knowledge of all products both current and new.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. - 21 years of age or older
- Commercial Driver’s License, Class A with minimum of 18 months experience.
- Hold a current Medical Examination Card
- Be able to pass a pre-employment physical and random drug screen
- Ability to work in a variety of environments
- Ability to work in a team environment with cooler, other transport drivers and depot warehouse workers.
- Pass drive test from supervisor or qualified employee.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prefer 2 years driving experience. Commercial Driver’s License, Class A and Current Medical Examination Card
