What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Project Manager position at Unanet?
We're looking for a services-oriented Associate Project Manager with excellent communication skills to join our growing Customer Experience Team! You will work cross-functionally to plan and execute projects according to established timeframes and budgets. You will also have the opportunity to define project objectives and oversee quality services delivery throughout each project's lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Direct and manage ad hoc consulting projects, integration projects and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementations from project initiation to project close
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
- Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, budget and resources
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify issues and/or risks, and devise contingency plans
Your First 90 Days
In your first 30 Days:
- Attend HR Employee Orientation and meet Unanet team
- Understand PM Roles & Responsibilities via PMO Training and Shadowing
- Gain access to and learn PMO tools (Salesforce, Unanet, Monday, etc.)
- Begin monitoring and supporting PMO Inbox
- Begin managing ad hoc consulting projects with support from the team
- Document PMO processes with support from the team
In your first 60 Days:
- Shadow Kick-Off Calls, Status Calls, and Close-Out Calls on at least two (2) engagements
- Attend available product training sessions and webinars
- Continue supporting assigned projects with assistance from the team
- Maintain project data, status reports and project notes for assigned projects in appropriate tools
- Maintain budget and forecast of projects
- Continue monitoring and supporting PMO Inbox
- Assume ownership of Change Orders and Change Order Project Funding
- Continue documenting PMO processes with support from the team
- Achieve 15% billable utilization target
In your first 90 Days:
- Lead, manage and own client projects from initiation to close
- Own all communications for assigned projects
- Own Change and Scope Management
- Own Budget and Forecasting on assigned projects
- Continue monitoring and supporting PMO Inbox
- Continue documenting PMO processes with support from the team
- Achieve 30% billable utilization target
Who You Are
- Prior experience working in a customer-facing capacity
- Detail oriented and highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to successfully manage multiple project engagements concurrently
- Ability to quickly learn our solution and how we operate
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fluid environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
