I. Job Summary
The Manager, Benefits, Compensation and HRIS manages the hospital’s benefits, compensation and HRIS functions and activities. Ensures the hospital’s benefits programs are administered and managed in a fair, accurate and equitable manner consistent with plan designs. Serves as a trusted advisor and internal consultant relative to compensation and benefit program administration, associated federal and state employment laws, and HRIS administration. Our benefit programs include the hospital’s defined benefit retirement plan, defined contribution and voluntary retirement saving program, health, dental, short and long term disability insurance, life insurance and optional voluntary benefit programs.
For the compensation program, the Manager ensures that the program is administered in a fair, accurate and equitable manner consistent with the organization’s compensation policy. Also serves as the HRIS expert and team leader in conjunction with ISDS (Spell Out!) and UNC System practices. Leads and supports new system implementations and as a resource to Kronos, Meditec and other software applications.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
Licensure/
Certification
CEBS desired
Experience
Minimum 3 years of progressive management experience working with benefit or compensation program administration required.
