UNC-Chapel Hill's University Communications department seeks a digital project specialist to develop and publish content on its digital platforms, unc.edu, The Well and other websites. This is a perfect position for a communications professional who wants to showcase important University initiatives and programs, profile top students and highlight the expertise of Carolina's world-class faculty and staff. Successful candidates will manage and share content that engages and informs the campus community and positions the University as a vibrant place to teach, learn and work.Reporting to the director of digital planning and production, the digital project specialist also maintains multiple websites using tools including WordPress and Photoshop. In addition, this position manages the production and distribution of a campuswide e-newsletter through Salesforce. This position will also manage projects, resources and services that support campus, and will work closely with campus communicators, other University units and outside vendors to coordinate and facilitate these projects. Successful candidates will have excellent writing abilities, experience managing websites, strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
