What are the responsibilities and job description for the Support Services Associate position at unc?
The Facilities Assistant will work with the FM (Facilities Manager), building occupnats, and independently to initiate, fulfill and document all work requests provided by building occupants and the FM. This includes but is not limited to, assembly and installation of department assets, furnishings, archival cleanout with the assistance of the FM and data owners, departmental moves, office setups, moving furniture, event setup and reset. This position will work with the FM to help organize department assets, conduct program projects, and update signage and lists. The incumbent will also assist with office, archival, and storage cleanout; identifying items to be kept, recycled, sent to Surplus or thrown away.
