The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Support Program (CCSP) seeks an energetic, motivated, and team-oriented individual to assist with a variety of programmatic, research, and administrative activities. The successful applicant will work closely with program and faculty leadership and gain valuable experience with quality improvement initiatives. This position includes exposure to the healthcare environment and professional development opportunities. The specific duties will vary but may include general tasks such as file maintenance, data entry and medical chart abstraction, and assistance with report preparation. Other responsibilities are available depending on individual interest and skill.The CCSP is a multi-disciplinary program that provides clinical services and conducts research to help patients, caregivers, and families cope with cancer, recovery, and survivorship. Our team offers cancer specific mental health assessment and counseling, cancer education and survivorship programs, nutritional assessments, integrative medicine, physical activity and wellness programs, financial and legal assistance, support groups and a wide range of programs offered remotely and on-site at the North Carolina Cancer Hospital. The CCSP also partners with community and rural cancer practices throughout North Carolina to improve cancer.
