We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Officer Supervisor. The Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing a team of unarmed security officers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid PERC Card (Per State Requirement) Only states requiring this License.
- Valid 20/40 Hour Certificate (Per State Requirement) Only states requiring this License.
- At least 5 years’ experience in Security
- 4 Hour Report Writing Course
- Received favorable rating on performance evaluation of “1-Promotable.”
- Only Two (2) unexcused absence in each 90-day period/quarter, total of four (4) per year
- Successfully complete the 8-hour refresher course (Only states requiring this License.)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and train all security officers personnel
- Write and submit security reports
- Provide security
- Maintain law and order in area of jurisdiction
- Monitor staff by patrolling with them
- Assign work areas for officers to patrol
- Conduct routine patrols with team
- Look out for suspicious persons, vandalism or hazards
- Respond to alarms and distress calls
- Ensure all security systems, like the burglar alarms and CCTV are working properly
