Job Description

We’re looking for a seasoned, expert Manager/Director of Partnerships to build, manage, structure,negotiate, and close key partnerships with the top technology providers in the events industry ecosystem. This is also an exciting opportunity to help develop the partnership’s crucial components include commercial model, deal structure, certification program, and other components of partner program.

This role will include a robust balance of creative deal making and deep partnership knowledge to identify and close opportunities that are best aligned to our client’s long-term partner strategy.

The ideal candidate will start as an individual contributor, but able to scale into supervisory duties and build out the partnership team when the need arises. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support and maintain existing partners and are responsible as a central contact person for the development of long-term relationships that will provide partner added value to Ungerboeck.
  • Together with our Chief Revenue Officer and Product team, you will identify and analyze potential strategic partnerships and develop individual business relationships and processes with our partners to create new partnering opportunities and ultimately more sales revenue.
  • Build the lead funnel with partners and are responsible for development, planning and goal achievements from partnerships within the sales organization.
  • You will support the development and expansion (and play a key role) of the Partner Programs across target markets
  • Work closely with Marketing on the conception and organization of partner marketing materials, studies and events that will serve the entire sales organization.
  • Develop all processes that originate in the Partnership Management unit of the company and work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product and Customer Success to introduce more value into the day-to-day partnership management activities.
  • Help develop the blueprint of partnership’s components that aim at Ungerboeck, customer and partner success which include commercial model, partnership related process, deal structure, partnership certification structure
  • Scale the Partner Program to be beyond key partnerships but also attract innovations from 3rd party around the world
  • Support and maintain high level of satisfactions for partners (identified or not identified yet) throughout partner journey

Qualifications

  • 5 years of professional experience in a fast-growing SaaS company building strong partner relationships that lead to increased sales revenue.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in Business Administration or a similar field preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in strategic sales or business development or partnership.
  • Demonstrated experience building and successfully running a significant pipeline ecosystem partners that are enabled to add value to the sales organization.
  • Verifiable evidence of winning new partnerships by managing the entire process from initial contact to signature of joint agreements
  • You will have experience of involving and working with partners in the SaaS and business solutions ecosystem.
  • Experience with complex Saas products and/or events software is a big plus.
  • A professional and methodical way of handling multiple partnerships with a broad set of stakeholders and key players
  • Strong negotiation skill with the inclusive approach to deal with partners, customers and internal teams

  • You are comfortable with using data for consideration and decisions
  • Strong commercial acumen to deal with complexity of negotiating and developing commercial with partner
