Job Description for NDT FPI Technician:
Uni-Cast has immediate openings in its NDT Department for a FPI Technician. This FPI position is responsible for processing of aluminum parts through a fluorescent liquid tank and inspection of parts for potential defects.
Seeking both Level 1 FPI Technician ($20-22/hour) and Level 2 FPI Technician ($25-28/hour). First and second shift available.
**Must be able to provide proof of FPI Certification **
Key skills for NDT FPI Technician:
- Good math skills
- Ability to work methodically and efficiently
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and use technical equipment
- Awareness of safety and quality standards
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Good fitness levels – position includes some heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds
Requirements for NDT FPI Technician:
- FPI Certification (Level 1 or 2)
- High School or equivalent
- 18 years of age
- 20/20 vision in one eye with correction
