Description

Marketing Project Manager supports the marketing team’s efforts to implement marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives. Under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Sales Enablement, the Marketing Project Manager is responsible for ensuring deadlines are met for the planning, production, coordination and distribution of marketing projects and materials. 


Individual may reside in or around the Lincoln/Omaha area and utilize either UNICO office. A minimum of two days per week working in the Lincoln, Nebraska office is required. 

Requirements

Project Management 

  • Oversee marketing projects from inception to completion, coordinate with team members to ensure all are on track with project deadlines. 
  • Identify and manage core processes to align with workflows and efficiencies.  
  • Set and track priorities for marketing jobs in progress, including assigning deadlines for project elements. 
  • Manage of Marketing internship program and recruitment. 

 Campaign Management 

  • Implement campaign strategies and timelines, ensuring seamless execution and delivery. 
  • Collaborate with teams to develop impactful marketing assets and ensure timely and cost-effective campaign completion. 
  • Implement tracking mechanisms and analytic tools to monitor campaign performance and implement strategic adjustments as needed. 
  • Use marketing automation and email nurturing to engage and convert prospects and customers across the buyer journey. 

Sponsorship Management 

  • Manage relationships with agency partners, ensuring that the company delivers on its sponsorship commitments. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, sales, and events, to integrate sponsorships into overall campaigns and initiatives. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sponsorships through key performance indicators and provide regular reports on sponsorship ROI. 
  • Track and monitor use of carrier co-op advertising dollars to support marketing campaign initiatives. 

Content Creation and Copywriting 

  • Prepare, rewrite, and edit copy to improve readability by ensuring language is clear, concise, and engaging for the target audience. 
  • Write, revise, and edit content for distribution on multiple channels, such as websites, social media platforms, and email newsletters. 
  • Respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) by crafting compelling and persuasive written proposals that highlight the company's strengths and capabilities. 

Skills / Abilities 

  • Skilled in using project management applications (ex. Asana, Microsoft Planner).? 
  • Advanced competency using Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Power Point). 
  • Advanced competency using marketing automation systems (ex. Pardot, Hubspot). 
  • Competency using design software and technologies (ex. InDesign, Illustrator, Wordpress, Photoshop) 
  • A keen eye for details. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to successfully interact with a variety of personality types. 

Work Environment / Physical Demands 

  • Typical schedule will be Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.  
  • This position will occasionally require an adjusted work schedule such as evening or weekend hours in order to complete necessary responsibilities. 
  • Primary Work location will be one of UNICO’s office locations 
  • Remote work arrangements are available based on experience and performance. 
  • The ability to transport, lift, and carry up to 25 pounds is an essential job function. 

Minimum Experience / Education / Designations / Licenses

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field or experience equivalent.  
  • Five or more years experience with at least three years of project management experience in the marketing, advertising or communication fields. Leadership experience preferred.
