Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The Construction Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating all site activities, managing subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.

- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, ensuring they complete their work efficiently and according to project timelines.

- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and protocols on-site.

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality meets project standards and specifications.

- Manage project schedules and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.

- Communicate and collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.

- Procure materials and equipment necessary for construction activities.

- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of construction progress, issues, and resolutions.

- Ensure that all completed work meets quality standards and client expectations.

- Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.

- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.

- Solid organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.

- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.

-2 years college or Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, First Aid/CPR) are a plus.

Working Conditions:

The Construction Superintendent will primarily work on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands. The role may require flexibility in work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
