This position provides data analysis to Department of Defense (DOD) customers at the Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO) Directorate of Public Works (DPW). The Real Property/GFEBS Analyst position will focus on maintaining real property financial data in the General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) in order to ensure that MOTCO remains audit ready. The ideal candidate should have experience with financial audits, possess great organizational skills, and be an effective communicator with the government client. This role provides support by performing GFEBS data analysis, updates, inputs, and edits. The Real Property Analyst will also ensure that reporting in GFEBS is consistent with information in the real property physical and digital folders including financial transactions with construction agents and maintenance records. Tasks include tracking construction projects across the installation, maintaining financial records, conducting physical inventories of Army real property including taking measurements on facilities, ensuring data adheres to business rules, assembling and submitting samples for audit, and assisting MOTCO civilian personnel with analysis tasks. The analyst will review financial asset records to make sure reporting is complete and accurate. The Real Property Analyst will work closely with the Areli GIS Project Manager to validate real property measurements (previous experience with GIS technologies is not a requirement).
Understanding office automation and quick learning of new technologies is critical. Previous work with GFEBS is preferred but not required as the role requires GFEBS training to obtain system access. The candidate must display proficiency and a solid understanding of various types of structures, building uses, asset category codes, construction terminology, business-related computer systems, and office equipment within 30 days of hire. Within 60 days, the candidate must display proficiency in GFEBS real property management and business best practices. The Real Property Analyst is required to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, troubleshoot, problem-solve, and implement processes. The analyst will work closely with the other Real Property GFEBS analyst and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Project Manager. Familiarity with GIS technologies is not required. The position reports to the Areli Project Manager.
Qualifications: High school diploma and 3-5 years of administrative clerical experience. Experience working in audit preferred. Professional customer service skills and good oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. The analyst must hold a valid driver’s license and the ability to effectively maneuver on uneven terrain during real property inventories. Candidate must be a US citizen. Per Government contracting requirements, the candidate must be able to clearly speak, read, and write in the English language, be a US citizen, as well as pass and maintain a National Agency Check Investigation (NACI).
