Job Summary:

A shipping packer is a warehouse employee responsible for fulfilling orders by arranging inventory in shipping and preparing them for shipment.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Pulling, packing, and loading
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of outgoing shipments.
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
• Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

•  Highschool Diploma, GED, or Trade School Certificate

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to use basic tools.
• Basic computer skills
• Experience working operations in a Warehouse environment.

Location:

• This position requires an onsite presence at our Whitestone, NY warehouse

Salary and Compensation: 

• In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At Unified Door and Hardware Group (UDHG), we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is $19-$21 an hour.
