Job description
The Machinist will operate computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools to cut and produce precision parts for machines, instruments, and tools. The Journeyman Machinist repairs and produces parts using both manual and automated equipment with precise measurements. The journeyman machinists' goal is to ensure effective production operations and optimize procedures.

Work Environment:
Employee may be regularly exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear or smell. Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stretch, crouch. Lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requires close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment.
